A Product Owner at understandAI is a technical expert with a strategic view within the development process. A Product Owner typically runs one or two teams and is a subject matter expert in the respective areas. It is your job to continuously discover opportunities and solutions to achieve business outcomes, to set the right priorities and to help the team to deliver on their goals. As a Product Owner you will be a member of the Product & Engineering Leadership team to help shape the biggest group of our organisation.

• Lead to achieve your team’s goal 
• You continuously discover the problem solution space of UAI to come up with innovative solutions to important problems
• Measure and report progress on product deliveries and operations
• Prepare the backlog with the team
• Contribute to product strategy and also challenge it
• Work closely with the team to solve the problem while “raising the bar”
• Communicate aligned vision and goals to the team

• You have a deep technical background and have coding experience, Product Owner experience is a plus, but not mandatory
• You have knowledge in the field of agile software development
• You are curious, open to new ideas, and foster learning
• You are a strong communicator with excellent facilitation skills
• You understand and address challenging technical issues
• English and German language skills on a fluent level are mandatory
