Working Student Software Engineer (all genders)

Intern / Student, Part-time · Karlsruhe (HQ)

The role

You will be part of an ambitious team which has fun delivering high-quality software to our customers. As a Working Student Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to learn modern principles of software engineering and introduce your own ideas to evolve our products. You will have a wide domain area to deepen your expertise, from building a great UI with the best User Experience, writing state of the art web applications or building cloud services. As a team, we build, ship and operate our product to make AI accessible to bring society to the next level.

Your tasks
  • Build next-generation web applications

  • Create a charming user experience within our application

  • Boost our client and server performance 

  • Set up data pipelines, write microservices and automate our business processes

  • Make sure that you write clean, well tested and well-documented code and participate in code-reviews

  • Active Student status

  • Experience with modern TypeScript, Node.js, Python or a similar high-level-language

  • Passion for writing great and maintainable code

  • Pick up the trash mentality, i.e. you raise concerns over code-quality or lacking test cases and fix problems once you see them
